Last month, Formula 1 sensation Charles Leclerc revved up excitement with the launch of his new ice cream line, LEC, under the cheeky slogan “WHY RESIST?”. These guilt-free indulgences come in five mouth-watering flavors: VANILLOVE, SALTY CARAMMMEL, SWIRLY PISTACHI-OH!, PEANUT CARAMEL TANGO, and CHOCOLATE CRUNCH, each tub ranging from 335 to 399 calories. Initially, LEC ice cream will be available exclusively in Italy, with plans to expand internationally in the near future. This follows the footsteps of German footballer Lukas Podolski, who launched Ice Cream United in Cologne back in 2017.

The ice cream industry is booming, currently valued at $79 billion and projected to reach nearly $132 billion by 2032, growing at an annual rate of 6.65%, according to the International Dairy Foods Association. This growth is occurring alongside a significant shift towards plant-based options, reflecting changing consumer preferences.
